Kentucky and specifically the central Kentucky Bluegrass Region are littered with various organized bicycle rides. Our goal is to create an experience where you enjoy the freedom of the bicycle, the beauty of the bluegrass, and the bounty of our farmers; all while witnessing the skills and knowledge of some of Kentucky’s most talented chefs.

It’s a bike ride that features unique pit stops at various restaurants, distilleries, and horse farms for you to eat and drink some of the best food in the region. Think of it as a progressive day of eating across the bluegrass.

There are two rides, ranging from 25 miles and 65 miles (the edible metric century, 100 km). Have a friend that doesn’t want to ride?  Worry not:  there is a dinner-only ticket option for the finale, which will feature music, dinner, and good times.

About Broke Spoke

A portion of proceeds from the Savory Cycle help sustain the work of the Broke Spoke Community Bike Shop, a Lexington non-profit whose mission is to provide better access to better bicycles for all people and to empower individuals to perform their own bicycle maintenance.  Broke Spoke is an entirely volunteer-run organization.
